carte environnement ¥ The environment and housing

With over 3,600 meters of public parks and gardens and 1,400 square meters of private gardens, combined with the 40 kilometers of the banks of the Seine and 100 kilometers of forest paths, the HAUTS-DE-SEINE is one of the greenest Departments of the Ile de France Region.

Nearly a third of the total surface area is dedicated to Parks and Gardens

The diversity of the Department's housing lends it a unique character. There is a vast residential area in the South West, which includes the towns of Vaucresson, Garches, Marnes-la-Coquette, Saint-Cloud, and Ville d'Avray, nestled in the most wooded part of the HAUTS-DE-SEINE. Moreover, the cost of housing is on average 25% lower than in Paris.
