Réseau Entreprendre 92

Réseau Entreprendre 92 finances and supports creators and buyers of SMEs with growth potential

This non-profit association is a member of Réseau Entreprendre and was formed in 1998 by a group of business leaders with the support of the Hauts-de-Seine Departmental Council.
Objectives: support the creation and long-term sustainability of future job-creating SMEs
The primary objective of Réseau Entreprendre 92 is to support SMEs with the potential to create jobs. Entrepreneurs financed by the association benefit from bank leverage in addition to an interest-free loan as well as support in strengthening their new business.
 Interest-free loan
Once a finalised business plan has been reviewed, an interest-free loan may be granted to boost the business’s equity and facilitate access to bank loans.
- This loan is unsecured and interest free, and is granted to an individual.
- The agreed amount is between €20,000 and €50,000, repayable over five years.
- For takeovers, the interest-free loan may be taken out in addition to the Ile-de-France Transmission loan, and may be for up to €75,000.
A key strength: support for business owners
All recipients of interest-free loans receive individual and group support to strengthen their new business.
 - Individual support is one of the foundations of Réseau Entreprendre: a coach, who is a business owner and a member of the association, shares his experience – and sometimes his network – with the young entrepreneur. Each successful applicant is supported by way of free monthly meetings with a business owner for two to three years.
This support enables successful applicants to take a step back from their day-to-day constraints (marketing strategy, finance, changes in capital, etc.).
 - Group support:
   - A monthly “entrepreneurs’ club” meeting aims to foster mutual learning by encouraging successful applicants from the same group of applicants to share their experience.
   - Bimonthly themed training sessions are led by specialist speakers.
What kinds of projects are eligible?
Projects must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- The business must be either in the process of being established or less than 18 months old.
- The company must be a limited company (société à responsabilité limitée/SARL), a public limited company (société anonyme/SA) or a simplified limited company (société par actions simplifiée/SAS).
- Both the registered office and the company’s operations must be based in the Hauts-de-Seine.
- The business must generate at least six to nine jobs within three years.
- The total amount of finance required in the first year must be at least €80,000.
- The concept must be scalable: individual retailers, craft businesses and micro-companies are not eligible.
- Franchises are not eligible unless they are genuinely free of constraints laid down by the franchisor.
- Managing the new business must be the project owner’s main job.
- The majority of the company’s share capital must be held by the project owners.
What is the procedure?
- The first step is for the project owner to complete the online form on the Réseau Entreprendre 92 website.
- Entrepreneurs whose projects are preselected are asked to attend individual interviews.
- The financing decision is made by a Commitments Committee made up of business owners who are members of the association.
